Unclaimed Monies List

All companies undertaking business within New Zealand are required by the ‘Unclaimed Money Act’ to inform the Commissioner of Inland Revenue of all ‘Unclaimed Money’ owing or held on their accounts.

After six years all money, except accounts bearing interest, is considered abandoned and paid into a Consolidated Fund, administered by the Commissioner.

If you believe money is owed to you, search the Unclaimed Monies List or contact: Unclaimed Money, Inland Revenue, PO Box 38222, Wellington Mail Centre 5045, New Zealand.
