Unclaimed Property Office

In British Columbia the Ministry of  Finance & Corporate Relations administers the Unclaimed Property Office.

This office is responsible for managing unclaimed money that is remitted to the province under the Unclaimed Money Act. The program's mandate is to reunite owners with their unclaimed property.

Unclaimed money is held until the rightful owner or their heirs can be located. There is no time limit and no charge for searching the database or making a claim.
